Network Aviation Group Appoint Jonathan Clark as CEO

Network Aviation Group are pleased to announce the appointment of Jonathan Clark as the new Chief Executive Officer with effect from 8^th January 2024.

Jonathan comes with over 35 years of experience in the air cargo industry having worked previously for Lufthansa Cargo, Qatar Airways, DB Schenker and Cargolux and is currently the CEO of Air Menzies International (AMI).

Network Aviation Group was originally formed in 1985 and currently has 42 offices around the world where they are the General Sales Agents for more than thirty airlines, but also sell the cargo capacity for their own freighter managed fleet which currently comprises of four Boeing 747 Freighters which are based in Liege, Belgium. The freighter managed fleet serves destinations throughout Africa and North America on a scheduled basis as well as offering charter capacity worldwide.

Network Airline Management Expands its Fleet with an Additional B747 Freighter

Network Airline Management (NAM) has recently taken delivery of its latest Boeing 747 production freighter aircraft, expanding its current fleet to 4 B747Fs.

The additional aircraft will join the fleet based at Network’s European hub, Liege – Belgium, and will allow NAM to further expand its scheduled and charter operations and allow customers more capacity, flexibility, and schedule stability.

Malcolm Higginson, Network Aviation Group’s Operations Director, commented:

“The delivery of our latest nose-loading B747F aircraft is a significant milestone in NAM’s fleet expansion plans. Network Airline Services Appointed GSSA for Air Mauritius in Denmark

Network Airline Services is pleased to announce that, effective from the 1^st of August 2023, NAS in Billund, BLL has been appointed as the General Sales and Services Agent (GSSA) for Air Mauritius in Denmark.

Air Mauritius currently operates with widebody aircraft from London Heathrow (LHR) and Paris (CDG) to Mauritius (MRU) with onward connections to Johannesburg (JNB), Reunion (RUN), Antananarivo (TNR) and Perth (PER), among others. The airline has also started flying out of London Gatwick (LGW) during the Winter of 2023. “NAS Denmark is delighted to be selling the cargo capacity of Air Mauritius, as well as our colleagues at NAS BRU in Belgium” commented Brian Schandorf, Network Airline Services’ Country Manager for Denmark.

Polar Air Cargo Renews GSA Contract with Network Cargo in Canada

Polar Air Cargo and Network Cargo are pleased to announce that they have extended their GSA contract agreement for a further three years, from the 1^st of July 2023.

Network Cargo, the General Sales and Services Agent branch of the Network Aviation Group in North America, have been reappointed by Polar Air Cargo (PO) as their GSA across all of Canada.

Paul Umpleby, Network’s Vice President of Commercial for the Americas said, “we are extremely pleased to announce that we have extended our contract with PO and we look forward to continuing our work with the great folks at Polar Air Cargo.”

Network’s partnership with the cargo-only airline, dates back to December 2019 which covers all of Canada utilising Network’s offices in Calgary, Montreal, Toronto and Vancouver. Polar themselves are based out of New York, USA covering all major global markets and destinations.

This newly struck partnership further strengthens Network’s relationship with North American carriers and widens its reaching coverage of the entire North American continent.

Network Airline Management’s TF-AMU and TF-AMM aircraft recently left the paint shop in Liege (LGG) with a rejuvenated new design, now featuring the iconic Network name.

Alongside the iconic white and blue eagle head tail design, both liveries now also proudly carry the Network name, making them more recognisable than ever. Alpha Mike Mike and Alpha Mike Uniform are both back in action, flying cargo across a sky above you, so be sure to let us know on social media how much you love the new paint jobs.

Network Airline Services Opens a New Office in Muscat, MCT

May 2023: Network Airline Services recently opened a brand-new office in Muscat, MCT. The new office is in the city centre, an ideal location for visiting customers whilst still being near to the airport. Our presence in the middle east is expanding, with an existing office in Dubai, DXB and now in Muscat too.

Andy King, Network’s Sales Director for the region, was thrilled to open the new office for business and said, “I’m glad to present Network Airline Services to a new location in the Sultanate of Oman, where we represent Air Tanzania, Allied Air Cargo, Amerijet and Vistara.”

Network Cargo Management Appointed as GSA for Transcarga in the USA

Network Cargo Management has been appointed as the GSA for Transcarga International Airways, known as ‘the airline of Venezuela,’ across the USA from the 29^th of March 2023.

Javier Gonzalez, NCM’s Sales Manager based in Florida said “I am happy to confirm that we have been appointed Transcarga GSA in the following 13 US states: California, Arizona, Nevada, Utah, Washington, New Mexico, Louisiana, Georgia, Texas, Tennessee, South Carolina, North Carolina, and Florida except Miami. NCM is delighted to be selling the cargo capacity of Transcarga Airways in the USA.”

Current, available destinations in Venezuela include Caracas (CCS), Valencia (VLN) and Maracaibo (MAR) with more to follow in the near future. T7 is also set to receive freighter aircraft in the not-too-distant future and is expected to have a freighter route operating ex MIA to BOG / CCS from the 1^st of June 2023.

Network Airline Services Opens a New Office in Zanzibar, ZNZ

Network Airline Services recently opened a brand-new office in Zanzibar, Tanzania. The new office sits within the airport region, therefore expanding our footprint in Tanzania to two offices, but also allowing the team to be closer to their local customers and agents in Zanzibar.

Sarah Wangui, our Managing Director for East Africa, was thrilled to open the new office for business and said, “I’m glad to present Network Airline Services to a new location on the island of Zanzibar, where we represent Allied Air Cargo and FlyDubai.”

This new office further adds to our global network, offering our customers more options in the East African region. The new address is as follows: Network Airline Services, Mjini Magharibi – Unguja, West ‘B’ Kiembe Samaki, Zanzibar, Tanzania.

Network Aviation Group Return to Air Cargo Europe in Munich

Network Aviation Group revisits Munich for the highly anticipated return of Air Cargo Europe at Messe Munchen, the first transport logistic trade fair event at the venue in .

More than 75,000 visitors from over 120 countries with 2,320 exhibitors from 67 countries, the highest number of international exhibitors and visitors ever attended the fair. Network exhibited as one of the record number of exhibitors, with a strong appearance from our Network Airline Services and Network Airline Management colleagues from around the world. Staff from our major European offices in London, Amsterdam, Frankfurt, Brussels and Paris as well as our Network Cargo Management colleagues from Canada based out of our Toronto office were also in attendance.

“We have been waiting since 2019 for this event to make its comeback post COVID and it did not disappoint! It was fantastic to be back at Messe Munich for this year’s Air Cargo Europe event, the go-to platform of the air cargo industry. This trade show remains the go-to global meeting point and communication platform whilst also cementing its status as the world’s leading trade fair for the wider logistics industry. Air Cargo Europe is THE trade fair event on our calendar that we cannot miss!”

Network Airline Services Appoints Sales Manager in Frankfurt

As of the 1^st of April 2023, Stefano Mauriello has been appointed and promoted to the position of Sales Manager Germany, Switzerland and Austria at Network Airline Services’ Frankfurt office.

Sander van Vilsteren, Network’s Regional Director for Europe said, “Over the years Stefano has grown into his position, being responsible for sales in the region and has proved he has what it takes to be successful. As regional director, I am very pleased to have such a capable person in our midst and I am confident, with Stefano in his new position, that the company will continue to thrive.”
