URGENT UPDATE: Fraud Alert!

URGENT UPDATE: Fraud Alert!

It has come to our attention that the Astral Aviation / Network Airline Management B747-400F bearing Reg No TF AMM has been falsely contracted to perform flights between Vietnam and USA, purportedly by JETT LLC and its CEO, Mr. Barry Oberholzer, who claim to be agents of Astral Aviation.

Neither Astral Aviation or have any affiliation with either JETT LLC or Barry Oberholzer, and will not be responsible for any transactions undertaken by the said agent.

Caribbean Airlines Cargo Ramps up Capacity for the Holidays!

From November 14th, Caribbean Airlines Cargo will provide (24) twenty-four weekly freighter flights on the Miami-Kingston-Miami and Miami-Trinidad-Miami routes as it expands its freighter capacity by close to 900,000 pounds weekly for the peak season.

The Network Cargo Management (NCM) General Sales and Service Agent (GSSA) is on an upward trajectory of continued growth which prompted the carrier to bolster its weekly freighter volume by 400,000 pounds earlier this year. “We are proud to represent Caribbean Airlines in key locations including in Los Angeles, Houston, Chicago, Atlanta and Washington. Network and Caribbean Airlines are ready for the holiday rush, so contact our US teams today for the latest rates, availability and to book your cargo on Caribbean Airlines!” – Javier Gonzalez, Network Cargo Sales Manager.

In May 2021, Caribbean Airlines Cargo introduced additional Boeing 767 freighter flights, augmenting capacity between Miami and Trinidad as well as Miami and Kingston. Growth has been recorded on all freighter destinations which also include Guyana and Barbados.

In July, Caribbean Airlines began to restore its passenger network as borders reopened at its base in Trinidad and Tobago. This enabled the airline to resume cargo services in the belly hold of its Boeing 737 and ATR passenger aircraft. Now, customers can transport cargo to more destinations including Antigua, Grenada, Nassau, St. Lucia, St. Martin, St. Vincent and the newest addition, Dominica.

Caribbean Airlines also operates cargo charters and is experienced in transporting critical cargo, perishable cargo and oversized shipments. As a value-added service to its growing customer base, the airline offers a cargo loyalty programme and access to cargo insurance.

Contact our teams across the US today for rates, availability and to book your cargo on Caribbean Airlines. You can find the nearest office to you with the ‘Our Network‘ page or click the button below for more information on how we can help YOU!

Network Aviation Group at The Air Charter Association Excellence Awards 2021

The 2021 Air Charter Association (ACA) Excellence Awards has its first awards presentation for two years since the start of COVID… and what a night it was!

This year’s prestigious event took place on Thursday 14th October at the Hilton Metropole Hotel in Brighton and was well represented by the Network team with a table of 10 attending the event. Network Aviation Group sponsored the ‘Cargo Charter Operator of the Year’ 2021 award.

The Air Charter Excellence Awards is the ideal event to network with fellow air freight industry colleagues and more importantly to rekindle relationships, face-to-face, within the air charter sector after the lack of in-person business contact caused by the COVID-19 pandemic.

The traditional City of London location was changed to a central seafront Brighton location, with the event changed from a luncheon to a new gala dinner-based format. Starting with a welcome drinks reception before moving through the hotel for a three-course meal and the main Awards presentation.

The shortlist and ultimate winners of the awards were announced by each of the sponsors including our Group Chairman, Andy Leslie who presented the trophy to the winner of the ‘Cargo Charter Operator of the Year’ 2021 award, followed by a quick flurry of photos which you can see below. After the conclusion of the awards presentation, a casino-themed evening ensued with Roulette and Blackjack tables and a wealth of ‘sovereigns’ to play with!

Kevin Ducksbury, chairman of The ACA said: “Our guests were thrilled to be able to get together in person again and enjoy our Excellence Awards event. Everyone remarked on how special the event was and that it was a fun change from the usual London venues.

The past 18 months have been incredibly difficult for our industry of course, and we look forward to a brighter 2022 and growth in our industry. Coming together for the event in Brighton reminded us how much of a community the air charter industry is and how we can all support each other through recognition and by highlighting the hard work involved.”

The various award categories at the 2021 Air Charter Excellence Awards, voted for by The ACA’s international members and judging panel, included: Cargo Charter Operator of The Year, Handling Agent / FBO of The Year, The ACA NextGen Young Person of The Year and Sir Michael Marshall Award for Sustainability in Aviation, alongside a few others.

Network would like to wish huge congratulations to all the winners! We look forward to meeting you all again at the next Air Charter Excellence Awards in 2022… see you there.

Air Malta and Network Airline Services Extend Total Cargo Management Agreement

Air Malta and Network Airline Services (NAS) are pleased to announce that they have extended their Total Cargo Management (TCM) Agreement for a further two years.

Whilst NAS has provided a TCM solution to Air Malta over the last few years, it has assisted the airline to vastly expand its cargo business as well as establishing itself in the global air freight marketplace, whilst increasing distribution channels. This has allowed the partnership to build a strong platform for future growth of its cargo business as an important revenue contributor.

Since the TCM agreement began, NAS has secured income for Air Malta month on month, year on year, whilst allowing a better synergy shared between NAS and Air Malta including important functions such as sales, marketing, pricing and revenue management, cargo reservations, revenue accounting, back-office administration, IT systems, cargo handling and interline contracts.

The TCM solution is becoming increasingly popular by several global airlines as it represents opportunities to generate additional cargo revenues from the maximization of aircraft cargo hold capacities. Network Airline Services has proved this solution generates new business opportunities from various sources, whilst Air Malta concentrates on its core business of being a passenger airline.

John Vella, Air Malta’s Head of Cargo Sales and Marketing explained, “We are proud to extend our agreement with NAS, as our preferred global cargo General Sales Agent. With over 35 years of air cargo management experience, NAS are strategically positioned, globally, to assist Air Malta with its ever-expanding cargo operation.”

Air Malta’s vision is to strategically strengthen its position as well as retain a global cargo footprint and presence through NAS’ network. Locally, Air Malta has grown their market share and is a leading carrier of choice for cargo in Malta.

John Gilfeather, Sales Director of Network Airline Services added, “We are very proud to be extending the TCM agreement with Air Malta. We are all looking forward to continuing working with the Air Malta staff, suppliers and customers to further our relationship with them. Air Malta provides excellent customer service to companies and individuals, sending goods to and from Malta.

“NAS has a proven track record of growing airlines cargo revenues through its global network of offices and IT teams to build a carrier’s cargo brand as well as target new revenue streams on their behalf. NAS looks forward to diversifying Air Malta’s product range and global coverage even further, the extension of this TCM agreement allows us to do so. We will continue to develop further relationships with other carriers and listen to our customers to gauge how we can further tailor our service around their individual needs.”
