A New Focus on Mental Health at Network Aviation Group…

At Network Aviation Group, we’re committed to creating a workplace where everyone feels supported and valued. That’s why we’re proud to announce a new initiative…

Focused on improving mental health awareness across our company. We’ve introduced a team of Mental Health First Aiders, trained to be a first point of contact for anyone needing support. As well as creating an entire mental health awareness portal, containing statistics, top tips, as well as further internal and external support for our staff. This is a significant step in our journey to foster an open and understanding environment, ensuring that conversations about mental well-being are as common and comfortable as those about physical health.

We now have 16 newly-trained and qualified Mental Health First Aiders after they recently completed an in-depth training course over 4 days from MHFA England. Our MHFAs are: Adeline Sauvet in France, Bruce Otieno in NBO, Carissa Tomines in DXB, Daniel Gibbons in LGW, Debby Crawfurd in AMS, Dorothy Onchiri in NBO, Ellen Holzel in AMS, Evalinda Bayona in DXB, Jade Cameron in LGW, Luke Baker in LGW, Maria Benamer in DXB, Moses Mugga in LGW, Paula Roman in DXB, Ron Hein in ATL, Verity-Ann Harper in LGW and Yegana Bekirova in DXB.

We also had the profound honour of hosting two separate webinars with Steve Phillip from the Jordan Legacy Foundation. Steve bravely shared the heartbreaking experience of losing his son to suicide and spoke about his journey of mental resilience. His powerful story and invaluable insights have been instrumental in helping us better understand and approach mental well-being.
