Network Airline Services (NAS) – the Caribbean Air Cargo Sales Agent have been awarded the contract to manage the air cargo product for JetBlue Airways Corp. Airways on the Island of Jamaica.
NAS Caribbean established in 2006 look after the air cargo affairs for a number of carriers from its offices at Montego Bay, an additional office opened at Norman Manley International Airport in Kingston in December, 2014.
The company provides airlines with a total management of their air cargo needs, including promoting the sale of cargo space from the Island, accepting bookings and supervising cargo delivery and handling and arranging for ancillary services such as security and pre inspection by the horticultural agencies.
JetBlue Airways offer daily flights from both Montego Bay and Kingston to New York (JFK) and Fort Lauderdale and has regular services to Orlando from Montego Bay. The carrier is offering over 6000 Kilos cargo capacity daily into the USA, making JetBlue Airways Cargo a major participant in the Jamaican export effort.
